Make your partner feel special
Sometimes when life gets busy, stressful and hectic, we forget to show our loved ones just how much they mean to us. Revive the romance with these 10 tips. Let your partner know just how much you care by adding little loving reminders to his day.

Hidden treasure

Brighten up your partner's day with the element of suprise! Slip something that'll make him smile into his lunchbox, briefcase or even his car. A love note or his favourite chocolate will bring a smile to his face and put him in a great mood.

Pamper time

Run him a bath, add some bubbles and get in and join him when he's had a particularly hectic week, it's the perfect way to relax, unwind and rekindle your romance. For an extra romantic touch try adding some candles around the bathtub.

Start the day off perfectly

There's nothing better than being taken care of and breakfast in bed is a great way to show you care! Get up early one Saturday morning when your man's had a particularly difficult week and serve him breakfast in bed. Who knows, he may just return the favour!

Make a break for it

Book a romantic weekend away! A day or two away from your regular routine is as good as a holiday and will leave you feeling more loved than ever. It doesn' have to cost too much either, a day or two in a classy bed and breakfast or a relaxing hotel will work perfectly.

Laugh a little

They say laughter is the best medicine, so inject some into your day. Rent a DVD with his favourite comedian and settle in for a fun and relaxing evening.

Get into the groove

When was the last time you danced with your partner? If you can't remember then there's no time like the present! Play "your" song and cut a rug, it's the perfect way to reminisce about your relationship!

Hands on healing

Give him a massage and watch his tension melt away. Try ylang ylang, neroli or rosemary essential oils to stimulate his senses. If you're not much of a masseur, book an appointment for a couple's massage at your local spa.

Feed the romance

The way to a man's heart is definitely through his stomach! So clear the house, send the kids over to you mom's for the night and cook up a romantic dinner for two. Make sure to look your best and create a romantic ambience with candle-light and flowers.

Random messaging

Drop him an sms or email in the middle of the day, just to see how he's doing and let him know how much you love him. There's nothing better than knowing how much you're loved and missed.

Doing it differently

Make one small change to the way you do things, if he usually grabs lunch at work, stop by and drop some off or make him a homemade nutritious one instead. If you're always in a hurry and don't have time to chat too much when you get home, set aside some time each day to talk about what's going on in your lives - afterall, sharing is caring.
